  We arrived a little after 6.45 by the time we got parked in the street, they have parking for around 12 cars .By that time it was leaving 10 to 7 and there was no one at reception. We waited for a couple of minutes seemed busy not enough staff with the looks of things. We were scowled at and told our booking was for 6.30 ! At that point, I bit my tongue and was ready to leave until i was talked out of it by my wife.Our booking was for 6.45pm as it was the pretheatre menu our orders had to be in the Kitchen by 7pm.turns out one of our party didnt arrive till around 20 past whether we were left until then i dont know, drinks orders were taken in between, slow to come. Food was ok, our order was taken around 20 past 7. and came promptly. My salmon was rather small to say the least a few sliced potatoes and a piece of brocolli £10.95 ahem !other family members thought it ok we definitely prefered a previous menu.with sea bass and sticky toffee pudding.We didnt let the frosty reception spoil our evening, and there wasnt anyone waiting on our table when we left just at around 8,30pm i suggest anyone who hasnt been give yourself time to park and dont be late.
