About Urban Grill - Village The Hotel Club Edinburgh
Fabulous Customer service!!! Will visit again.
Came here yesterday with my in-laws and my 5&6yo girls for a birthday lunch. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, and the decor was very chic. We were greeted by a lovely manager who showed us to our table, and quickly brought us our drinks while we decided what we were having to eat. The children had pizza which was presented beautifully, pre sliced and large enough for an adult. I had the chickpea, spinach and sweet potato curry which was hot, flavorsome & filling. My in-laws had the classic burger and club sandwich which were served in wooden boxes and looked and smelled great. My girls had ice cream to follow but the adults were so full from the portions we could only look. Our party didn't leave disappointed! I will certainly return as the staff in the restaurant were all about customer service. Nothing was too much trouble and I have already booked a weekend stay here for my partner and I to make use of the rooms and facilities. If the standard of the service in the restaurant is anything to go by, I will be a frequent visitor!
Family meal including children, bar menu great value and lovely food. well priced and onsite parking (always a bonus in Edinburgh)
Premium casual restaurant
Urban Bar and Grill is the stylish restaurant at Village Urban Resort Edinburgh. Located on Crewe Road South, it is a premium casual restaurant which features a smart contemporary decor. Think stripped brick walls, leather seats, a zinc bar and an open grill.
Grills and specials
The grill is at the heart of the Urban Bar and Grill’s offer. Along with steak frites and fillet steaks, there are NY strip sirloins; surf ‘n’ turf, grilled lobsters and both tuna and salmon steaks. There are also beef, chicken and veggie burgers.
The specials might range from steak Stroganoff to chicken Kiev or crab and chilli linguine. The Sunday roast is always popular. An eat-all-you-want offer, it features salads and starters alongside carvery meats and what are reputed to be the largest Yorkshire puddings in town.
The dessert menu has plenty of choice from classic sticky toffee puddings and crème brûlée to a selection of fine Mackie’s ice creams. Of course, there is a cheeseboard with a selection of artisan cheeses.
