The Telford Arms is on Telford Road. A traditional Edinburgh bar, it serves the local community as well as staff from the nearby Western General Hospital and passing trade. A family-friendly pub, it shows all the big football matches. Regular bingo, quiz and disco nights mean there is never a dull evening and the outdoor seating is always popular when the sun is shining. Home-style bar food

The freshly caught haddock – battered or in breadcrumbs – is hugely popular at The Telford Arms. The fish vies for attention with lots of other traditional bar classics.

There is, of course, a steak and ale pie but many regulars would argue that the mac ‘n’ cheese or BBQ chicken stack are just as good. The gammon and sirloin steaks always go down well and there is a select range of 6oz burgers which are made on the premises and cooked to a juicy medium. Try the Auld Smoky which is topped with smoked mozzarella, smoky bacon and BBQ sauce. There is also a roster of daily specials.

The Telford Arms is on Telford Road by the Drylaw and Blackhall neighbourhoods of Edinburgh. The Western General Hospital is nearby as is Craigleith Retail Park. The bar has its own parking facilities and several bus routes run past the bar to and from the city centre.
