  Hi, we had a mixed experience. Firstly we thought that 2 course for £9.95 was great value. Food wise, the calamari starter was disappointing, as were the onion rings with the burger as the batter was doughy and pale, they were soggy and just not enjoyable at all. The mushroom pancake main course and the burger itself were very tasty though. Service-wise, our waitress wasn't very interested in us. She brought our wine to the table, opened it, and left it in an ice bucket without a napkin and left us to pour it ourselves and mop the drips up from the wet bottle on our table. Also she didn't write down our food order, she took it to the kitchen from memory, therefore the sides we had ordered were forgotten and arrived mid way through the main course, after we had to remind her about them twice after our meal was delivered. Other waitresses came along, topped up our wine and were very friendly and efficient. All in all, and ok meal and ok service. We have had better at this restaurant. Will give it the benefit of the doubt and will go back again and give them a chance.
