The Angels Share Hotel, Bar and Restaurant is a stylish, Scottish restaurant set on Hope Street on the border between Edinburgh’s city centre and West End.
The Angels Share is a modern venue with a unique interior decorated with the faces of Scottish stars. It has a relaxed atmosphere during the day and, as expected from its location, is bustling at night. There is a large bar area and a second dining room hosting the restaurant.
The Angel’s Share specialises in mostly Scottish based dishes using quality, fresh Scottish ingredients. Typical main courses would be pan roasted chicken supreme with haggis set on crushed new potatoes with whisky jus or slow cooked belly of pork stuffed with Stornoway black pudding with leek mash and apple jus.
Named after the whiskey lost to evaporation during the distilling process, Angel’s Share has, as you would expect over 200 whiskeys to choose from and enjoy with your meal as well as an extensive cocktail list.
The Angels Share Hotel Bar and Restaurant is ideally placed on Hope Street behind House of Fraser on the border with the West End, a short walk from shopping and tourist hubs Princes Street, George Street and Edinburgh Castle.
It is around fifteen minutes from both Haymarket Train Station and Edinburgh Bus Station.
