Modern Scottish brasserie in the West End

Situated in the heart of the city, One Square Bar & Brasserie offers seasonal Scottish dining and spectacular views of Edinburgh Castle. Executive Chef Shaun Woodhouse works with local suppliers, farmers and fishermen to ensure that all ingredients sourced are of the highest standard.

Showcasing Scotland’s larder

The menus at One Square feature an inventive range of Scottish favourites. Prime Scotch fillet steak, Shetland salmon, Scottish shellfish and freshly made ice creams are just some of the tempting dishes available. Simplicity is key and everything is freshly prepared from start to finish, from the hand-cut chips to the filleted fish.

The Brasserie also offers afternoon tea with a modern Scottish twist, including a vegan version. The Sunday lunch buffet comes complete with a Kids Club to keep the little ones entertained.

The drinks list features over 100 different varieties of gin, including the bar’s very own One Square Gin. Or you could sample a creative cocktail or expertly curated wine.

West End parking and attractions

One Square has on-site parking for diners and is close to the Usher Hall, Lyceum and Traverse. Haymarket station is a 10-minute walk away and Waverley is a brisk 15 minutes.
