  We travelled as a party of six to the Edinburgh Festival. We stumbled across this restaurant, which completely astounded us. We expected the usual 'Italian' stuff, we did not expect this traditional Italian Restaurant giving a family friendly atmosphere with excellent food from a very good selection. The prices were moderate to cheap considering the time and place. (Festival usually doubles or triples all prices.) I would have no hesitation in returning here or of recommending it to anyone. The restaurant was extremely busy, but we were served quickly but without rush. We never had the feeling of being ushered along to get the next 'lot' in. they catered for any number from 1 to 16, (that we saw).
