Restaurant was quite but owner and staff pleasant and courteous. They entered into conversation humour with customers present. Drinks and food served as ordered. It was hot, fresh and well presented. One of the party had a 'no dairy product' preference and that aspect was fully explained by waiter as menu choices were made. A good relaxed dining experience.

The family run Ayr India comes from a long line of food aficionados, with a 300 year heritage in arable and dairy farming.
Ayr India’s emphasis on healthy eating means you can enjoy your favourite Indian dishes without the guilt. The food is prepared using local seasonal produce with cholesterol free rape seed oil. All the dishes, aside from the breads, are gluten free.
Children are also welcome at Ayr India and are treated to their own “Naw Nippie at aw” menu which includes a Western selection.
Ayr India’s menu has a wide selection of dishes including pakora, tandoori, mixed platters and balit, achari, rogan josh, bhoona and punjabi curries.
The Banquet options allows the experienced staff to prepare a feast of starters, mains and accompaniments based on your own tastes.
Ayr India is a two minute walk from Ayr bus station and a ten minute walk from Ayr train station which serves trains to Glasgow. There is a taxi rank a five minute walk away at Boswell Park.
