Fabulous welcome , Beautiful hotel on the sea. Hotel with very nice services: Excellent food , Beautiful room very clean , Gym on top, Several very beautiful pools. Congratulations to all the staff. I came 3 years ago and will come back!!

We’ve recently returned from a fabulous week’s stay at the Athena Pallas. We stayed in an Armonia suite, which we absolutely loved. The room and bathroom were very well equipped and comfortable. The proximity to the pool was a huge plus as well as having designated loungers tied to our room number. They were also the most comfortable loungers we’ve ever had. Even though the water temperature was cool it didn’t prevent me from a daily early morning swim. The whole resort is spotless and well maintained and the staff friendly and efficient and very helpful. In the buffet restaurant the staff were very polite and efficient, clearing plates away but checking first that you had finished. Yes, the drinks were a little expensive but we still visited the bar and bought extras from the on-site shop. In the buffet the food was varied and always a large choice of fresh salad ingredients. The desserts were really yummy and I especially enjoyed the Greek pastries. We also enjoyed the Greek cooking lesson where my husband was able to participate and we were able to taste all the dishes prepared along with Ouzo. I treated myself to a spa treatment which I thoroughly enjoyed. Pool towels were easy to change when needed. We visited Nikita, going on a Friday to visit the market, mainly a produce market not a tourist market but quite large and super to see all the lovely fresh produce. We took the hotel minibus into Nikita 12€ and returned in a taxi 15€. We also walked down to the sea front where there are lots of bars and restaurants. The sea is just over the road from the hotel accessed by steps. The beach is quite narrow and shingle so water shoes are probably a good idea. The water was very clear, but as it was early in the season I didn’t venture in, but others did swim and children were able to play and paddle. The resort was peaceful and restful, no loud music blaring out around the pool. We had a wonderful stay and were really pleased that we had chosen this resort for our holiday.

We spent a week here as a family (2 adults, 1 child).In our booking there was an upgrade from the Junior Suite to the Grande Suite and instead of the half board the full board (without drinks). We also had a rental car for a week, which we drove from Thessaloniki Airport to Athena Palace Village. The rental car in our opinion offers a very good opportunity to explore the area and the beautiful beaches. There is so much to discover, even in the vicinity, that is hardly possible in a week. The hotel is very nicely designed, there are lovingly laid out, small secluded places to retire and during our stay (end of April/beginning of May) was not too busy. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the buffet food good. However, it is recommended to eat at the “Lemoni” a la Carte, it was really delicious and traditional Greek. Drink prices were not cheap, but okay. The entertainment program was very pleasant. Every other evening there was a program (e.g. guitar evening, Greek evening) during the day you could participate in activities (gym, mini golf, table tennis, kids club, to name a few) for free. The team around Thommi and the kids club was super nice and managed the language barrier well with the help of Google Translate. They also speak English and French. The private beach of the hotel is only accessible by stairs, so not barrier-free, but offers a fantastic view of picturesque sunsets. We have recovered very well, had a great time and heartily recommend the Athena Palace Village! We would love to come back.
