Kefalonia Grand Luxury Boutique Hotel - Fabulous week at the KG!! We just returned from a week-long stay at The Kefalonia Grand and can’t say enough nice things about it! It’s in a great location. It’s across the street from the palm tree-lined harbor where you can go for a stroll or take pictures of the Loggerhead Sea Turtles. You can walk to many shops and restaurants as well as the ferry. They offer a full buffet breakfast as well as lunch, dinner & a full bar. Olga & Marika (concierge) are very helpful with booking excursions, renting a car or calling a taxi. Our "Superior Double Room with Seaview" had a small balcony with 2 chairs and a table.

Kefalonia Grand Luxury Boutique Hotel - A hotel to return to As a travel agent and a guest at the hotel, I can truly say this was a special experience. The reception team, Kassandra and Olga, were warm and welcoming. Kassandra is full of energy, always smiling and helping everyone. Olga really knows the island and loves what she does – you can feel it when you talk to her. At the hotel bar, Maikis and Sakis were kind, funny, and gave great service. In the morning, we met Matina in the dining room – she was friendly, caring, and always smiling. A lovely way to start the day. The hotel design is beautiful – a mix of modern and boho style, with soft, relaxing colors. The best part is the location: very close to the main square, and the sea view from the rooms is amazing. Even my room with a side view had something special. No doubt – when I come back to Kefalonia, I’ll stay at this hotel again. Big thanks to all the staff for a great stay!

Kefalonia Bay Palace - Excellent hotel This is an excellent hotel. The views over the bay and towards the hills are magnificent. The staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. My room was clean, and the daily cleaners ensured it was spotless throughout my stay - credit to them. Perhaps the bathroom is a little dated - a shower hose over the bath tends to leave splashes on the floor, but this is really no problem. On the balcony it was a joy to sit at the table and look across the bay. An armchair in my room would have been a welcome addition. It should also perhaps be noted that all the rooms are up what might be a tough climb for some. There are two lifts, but one has to go up fairly steep slopes to reach them. The hotel is well-designed and fits into the landscape pleasantly. Recommended.

Kefalonia Bay Palace - A fantastic holiday We have just returned from a fabulous week at this hotel. Apart from a leaky kettle, everything was spot on. Yes the bedroom decor is slightly dated, but it was spotless, and the view from the huge balcony was stunning. We spent so much time just looking at the sea, mountains, clouds, boats. It’s just mesmerising. The room had a small fridge which was useful, we bought a few mixers in the village supermarket, picked limes from trees en route and enjoyed our duty free with the view! The pool area was well kept, sun beds and towels aplenty. We loved the club sandwich available from the bar and the cold pints of Alfa were delish! Breakfast was ample, we ate down in the village every night, the walk was lovely and manageable if you take your time (and use the lifts back up). Going towards the end of the season meant that some of the restaurants and bars were shutting up as tourist numbers dwindled, I wouldn’t leave it much later than 1st week of October. And finally a mention to the staff, who went out of their way to make our holiday a special one. From the very smiley Ukrainian lady who served breakfast and worked in the pool bar, to the chap who helped carry our cases up to our rooms, the blonde lady on front desk who knew we’d come down for ice and would hurry to replenish our little ice bucket, and all the cleaning staff who worked tirelessly, you were brilliant and we thank you very much for your hard work.
