The banks of Loch Lomond are indeed bonnie.
Especially when they light up with all the colours of autumn.
Enjoy the changing season with today’s Big Deal from The Inn on Loch Lomond at Inverbeg.
An overnight dinner, bed and breakfast offer, it is a super convenient way to get out of the city and into the fresh country air.
The Inn first opened in 1814. While it retains its traditional charm, a recent refurbishment means that it also features all the 21st century comforts and conveniences that you could wish for.
Located on the A82, just three miles north of the picturesque village of Luss, The Inn on Loch Lomond is easy to get to but feels relaxingly remote from the hassle of the city.
Contemporary Scottish hospitality
Available seven days a week, the offer is for two people to have an overnight break at The Inn with a two course dinner in the evening and full
Scottish breakfast in the morning.
Depending on availability, guests will stay in a classic Glen Douglas or Loch Lomond double room in the main building or you can upgrade to an executive Ben Lomond or deluxe double in the Beach House.

Many of the rooms at The Inn on Loch Lomond have magnificent views of the loch. They are all tastefully decorated in rustic, local colours and have interiors inspired by the Loch Lomond landscape.

Fresh fish and fantastic whisky
Guests can make merry in Mr C’s Fish and Whisky Bar and Restaurant, the hotel’s welcoming, casual dining spot.
The kitchen serves seafood, burgers and steaks and what many describe as the best fish and chips in Scotland.
Fresh fish is prominent on the menu and the bar has a very extensive whisky list; a wide selection of wines and a great range of real ales.
Guests can choose to dine in the traditional restaurant eating area, the relaxed soft seating space with big screen entertainment or in the lounge bar.
Traditional, live folk music sessions take place every weekend with varying artists performing.
Guests are welcome to use the leisure facilities of sister hotel The Lodge on Loch Lomond.
As well as a sixteen metre heated swimming pool, there is a sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room for you to enjoy.
As we mentioned, The Inn on Loch Lomond has been welcoming guests since the early 19th century. This is what a more recent visitor thought of their experiences at the inn:
‘A warm welcome. We stayed here for two nights at the end of August and we had a lovely time. The staff were really pleasant, they did a great job and were very friendly, and we enjoyed our meals too. The hotel is very well positioned on Loch Lomond and has a large car park. The only slight negative we had was a lack of storage in our room. The room was quite small (no 108) which didn’t bother us, but just a small chest of draws would have made a difference. The bed was nice and comfortable and we slept well. We would definitely return here and thank you for a pleasant stay.’
Vouchers for this offer are valid until the 20th of December 2015.
It would be perfect for an autumn break with someone special.
A romantic walk along the shores of the loch followed by dinner and a dram in front of the bar’s open fire – autumn is beginning to look sweet.
