Guests can have a two course meal each. Starters include soup of the day with crusty bread, potted chicken liver parfait with melba toast and chutney, and pea, leek & celery risotto (which is also available as a main).
Mains may include treacle-glazed baked ham with henhouse fried egg and twice cooked chips, piri piri chicken breast with baked sweet potato and house salad, and beer battered haddock with minted mushy peas, tartare sauce and twice cooked chips.
On Sundays, mains will differ, including roast beef, half-roasted garlic and lemon chicken, and pan-roasted salmon, all of which come with roasted potatoes, gravy and all the trimmings.
Steak and beef dishes may incur a £3 supplement, payable directly when dining. Menus may be subject to change.
If you are a walker, then you will enjoy rambling around the Gargunnock and Fintry Hills, while golfers can pack their clubs and head to nearby Stirling Golf Club.
The inn is also a short drive from Blair Drummond Safari Park, Doune Castle and Glengoyne Distillery. Or you could spend a day in Stirling, browsing the shops and seeing the sights.
