AA Rosette

This tasty offer is for a 2 course table d’hote lunch for two in the stylish Scholars’ Restaurant.

The restaurant has been awarded an AA Rosette for its menus which feature both traditional Scottish dishes as well as choices from further afield.

The dishes available will depend on the season but typical starters might be the smoked ham hough terrine, piccalilli and toasted rustic bread while popular main courses include the slow cooked beef bourguignon, Wild mushroom ravioli or Seared fillet of salmon.

Be sure to leave space for desserts like the Crème brulee, sticky toffee pudding or the raspberry sorbet.

Certain dishes, such as the fillet steak will incur a supplement.

After lunch, guests can enjoy a nightcap (not included) in the Headmaster’s Study bar. Not many of us have fond memories of double French but a double Scotch is always enjoyable.
