The Waverley has been picking up positive guests reviews on TripAdvisor:
‘Lovely overnight stay. Stayed for one night. Very, very friendly. Room was beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was yummy. Full veggie breakfast! Our dog was made to feel very welcome. She was allowed in most areas, just not the restaurant area, which was fine.’
‘Arrived in the afternoon and we were looked after immediately. Taken to and shown to our room which was spotless and a decent size. We went downstairs to the bar which was very spacious and quite busy. The selection of cask ales and malt whiskies was impressive, so over the next few nights tried a few and was not disappointed. Over the next three days we had three evening meals and breakfasts which were excellent and with a good choice. My host was always available for a chat and his staff were always pleasant and attentive. Not fair to pick one but we felt Taylor was very pleasant. Plenty of parking around and loads to do. All in all an excellent experience. Would defo go back.’
‘Had a 2 night stay here. Reasonable size room, comfortable bed and pillows very clean. Friendly staff made us feel welcome. The breakfast is excellent, good local produce cooked to perfection! Had dinner which again was excellent, the waitresses were helpful and chatty. Great stay, thank you.’
