One or two night stay

Today’s Big Deal at Hotel Colessio has two options.

Option one is for a one night stay in a club room with dinner and breakfast.

Option two is for a two night stay in a premium king room with breakfast on both days and dinner on the first night.

Both options offer a late check out at 1pm, allowing you more time to luxuriate in bed.

The deal is available seven days a week until the end of March. There is a £20 supplement per room for Saturday nights.

Luxury rooms

All 36 rooms and suites at Hotel Colessio offer the kind of thoughtful touches that you would expect from a luxury boutique hotel. Each room is generously sized and includes a lounge space, desk space and deluxe bathroom with separate bath and shower.

As well as this, you can enjoy a comfortable bed with a big soft down duvet, plump pillows and fine linens; a widescreen plasma TV with satellite channels and radio; a music system; quality Molton Brown toiletries and free high-speed WiFi. Other facilities include a hairdryer, iron/ironing board and wake up call service.

Chic dining

Decorated in chic black, white and silver, with table and banquette seating, Hotel Colessio’s Grill Room restaurant is a very stylish place to dine.

Menus can change regularly but sample mains include the slow-cooked featherblade of beef with truffle mashed potato, baby veg and mushroom sauce, the poached smoked haddock with spring onion crushed potatoes, and the garden pea and asparagus risotto with tomato and chive butter sauce.

You can also tuck into a selection of grill steaks such as rib-eye, sirloin and fillet, served with hand-cut chips and a choice of sauces. All steaks are cooked on the hotel’s Josper Grill.

After dinner, the hotel’s cocktail bar offers a place to unwind.

Stirling break

Available seven days a week until the end of March, you could use this Big Deal to take in the beautiful surroundings of Stirlingshire during the winter frost or early spring.

Stirling is a convenient break from Glasgow and Edinburgh, just a 40 minute drive from Glasgow and one hour from the capital. As the hotel is just a six minute walk from Stirling Train Station, it is easily accessed by public transport.

You could explore nearby Stirling Castle and all the battlefields and historical sights in the area associated with William Wallace and his army.

Alternatively, you could simply stay within the sumptuous surroundings of the hotel for the ultimate relaxing break.
