1 or 2 night stay in a spa hotel

Nestled at the side of the loch with views towards Ben Lomond, the four-star Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Spa hotel enjoys a spectacular location.

Handily, this attractive hotel is right on the doorstep of Aberfoyle, making it easy to reach from Glasgow and Edinburgh. Free on-site parking makes it even more convenient.

Available until 31st March 2020, this Big Deal has four options:

Option one is for an overnight stay for two people with full Scottish breakfast.

Option two adds on a £25 per person dinner allowance in one of two restaurants, as well as a bottle of Prosecco on arrival.

Option three is for a two night stay with dinner allowance on the first night only, as well as breakfast each morning and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival.

Option four is the same as option three, and adds a 25 minute spa treatment each.

All options are available seven days a week, with a late check-out of 1pm.

There is a £10 per room supplement for Friday night stays, and £30 per room supplement for Saturday night stays, payable directly to the hotel.

Fab facilities

As well as a leisure club with a swimming pool, an AA Rosette restaurant and a relaxed bistro bar, the hotel also has an onsite activities centre, so there is plenty to keep guests occupied.

The 55 individually styled, fully ensuite bedrooms are comfortable, traditionally furnished and come with many period features as well as stunning views.

Room features include comfy beds, free WiFi, a large desk, a TV, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron with ironing board and a hairdryer.

AA Rosette dining

Guests on options two, three and four of the deal will have a £25 per person dinner spend to be used on the day of check-in, choosing from the Classic menu in the Rafters Bar & Bistro, or the a la carte menu in the Garden Restaurant.

The Garden restaurant sources the finest Scottish beef, lamb, pork and wild white fish for its modern Scottish menus.

Rafters Bar & Bistro offers more casual dining, as well as a calm space to enjoy afternoon tea.

Choice of treatments

Included with option four of the Big Deal is a 25 minute spa treatment each, choosing from the following Elemis treatments:

Freestyle deep tissue massage
Deeper than deep hot stone massage
Intensely cleansing salt scrub
Best foot forward treatment
