Island break

Available seven days a week, option one of this offer is for two people to enjoy an overnight stay in a classic double or twin room at Skeabost.

Option two, also available seven nights a week, is for two people to have a two consecutive night stay.

Option three is as option two, and includes a glass of Prosecco for each guest on arrival and two course dinner on the first night.

All options include cream tea on arrival and a full Scottish or continental breakfast each morning.

Depending on availability, guests may be able to upgrade to a Superior Room for a supplement.

Round of golf?

The hotel has its own golf course, which is available to use at a charge, arranged with the hotel. The nine hole, fourteen tee course weaves its way through the picturesque, landscaped, loch side gardens.

While Skeabost House Hotel has handsome 19th century good looks, it also has modern comforts and features such as WiFi, ensuite rooms, hospitality trays and flat screen TVs.

Malt whisky

Guests who choose to take other meals in the hotel can look forward to menus which make the most of fresh fish and seafood straight from the fishing port of Mallaig; local venison and beef; baby veg and edible flowers from North Skye plus mussels, crabs and oysters from central Skye.  

There is an interesting and varied wine list along with a large range of malt whiskies and vast selection of Scottish Gins; something to suit all tastes.  

Guests can end their evening with a drink in the billiards room, formerly the chapel of the original country house, or just relax with a malt whisky in the Cocktail Bar.

See & do

Skye is famous for its challenging climbing and breath-taking walking opportunities not to mention its historical attractions such as Dunvegan Castle.

In season, there is fishing available (additional fees payable) on the hotel’s private trout and salmon river.

Guests of Skeabost can also enjoy the sailing trips offered by the owners of the hotel on their luxury yacht. The 50’ Solus a Chuain (Light of the Ocean) sails daily out of Armadale and is weather dependent, normally available until the end of September.
