The menus change with the seasons but typical dishes might be the wild sea trout with a pea and ham risotto and roast garlic espuma or a dish of Nairn pork – roast loin and pressed belly served with carrotée and kale.

Of course, there is no shortage of walking, climbing or wildlife spotting to enjoy on Skye but there is also no need to leave the hotel. Enchanting walks though the garden and surrounding woodlands will sharpen the appetite for dinner.
