This Big Deal gives you the chance to stay for one or two nights in a hotel which played an important role in the legend of the island – the birthplace of Drambuie, which was Bonnie Prince Charlie’s secret recipe.

The hotel in question is the Broadford Hotel, a cosy place to stay on the beautiful sweep of Broadford Bay.

Available seven days a week until March 2019, this deal would make an excellent Christmas gift.

One or two night stay

There are three options for this Big Deal at the Broadford Hotel.

Option one is for an overnight stay for two people with breakfast.

Option two is for an overnight stay with breakfast, a three course dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and a welcome Drambuie, and option three is for a two night stay with breakfast on each day, a welcome Drambuie and a three course dinner on the first night.

All options are available seven days a week until 29th March 2019.

Cosy rooms

The Broadford Hotel has warm and cosy rooms, styled in colours inspired by Drambuie tartan. A number of rooms look over Broadford bay, where guests can see fishing boats return from the sea with their catch.

Every room in hotel is ensuite with a direct dial telephone, free WiFi, a flat screen TV, a hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

Three course dinner

Options two and three of this deal include a three course set menu in the Broadford Hotel’s restaurant which overlooks the bay. The restaurant serves hearty dishes created using Skye’s renowned seafood, livestock and vegetables grown on the unspoiled lands.

Two bars

The Broadford Hotel has two bars perfect for relaxing in after a day of exploring Skye. The Spinnaker Bar has comfy leather sofas and views over the bay. It also serves a food menu and, of course, Drambuie. The bar’s speciality is Drambuie served long with soda and fresh lime. It also serves a range of coffees, malts, ales and beers.

The hotel’s Gabbro Bar is warm and cosy, with an open fire and quaint decor. It has separate dining area serving bar meals, along with a pool room. The bar also hosts regular live music.

Explore Skye

There are countless ways to explore the majestic Isle of Skye. There’s spectacular scenery like the Old Man of Storr, the Quiraing, and the Cuillin mountains, the dramatic history of warring clans and Jacobite battles, and towns and villages with quirky shops and cosy pubs.

As Broadford is just over the bridge from the mainland, guests can explore the nearby much photographed Eilean Donan Castle and the pretty coastal village of Plockton.
