‘A hidden gem. We enjoyed an internet deal on dinner bed, and breakfast at the hotel. Dinner was in Palomino’s Restaurant. The informal restaurant was buzzing. The food was outstanding… and the service was attentive, friendly but not in your face… check in was friendly. The hotel room was well fitted for an overnight stay, the towels soft and fluffy. The mattress provided a great sleep… The Country Club is located some twenty miles from Glasgow, just off the M8, and, on the way down, the views… were breathtaking. All this a half an hour from the city.’
