The Murraypark Hotel

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, local lad Ewan McGregor worked in the kitchens at Crieff’s Murraypark Hotel.

These days, Mr McGregor has entire star systems to save and has rather less time to scrub the pots and pans.

One or two night stay

This Big Deal has three options, all available Sunday to Thursday.

Option one is for an overnight stay for two in a double room with a full Scottish breakfast in the morning.

Option two is for an overnight stay for two in a double room with a full Scottish breakfast in the morning, two course dinner for each guest and a bottle of Prosecco in your room on arrival.

Option three is for a two night stay for two in a double room with a full Scottish breakfast each morning two course dinner for each guest on your first night and a bottle of Prosecco in your room on arrival.

The a la carte menu features a good range of local produce and vegetarian options. Some dishes, such as steak, will carry a supplement.

Cosy ambience

The Murraypark Hotel’s 21 bedrooms are all ensuite and decorated to feel fresh, bright and inviting.

The staff are just as welcoming and the hotel has a great reputation for being pet-friendly.

If the weather is good, the beer garden is a real sun trap and kids love playing on the grass and swings. 

Use of Crieff Hydro facilities

Throughout your stay at The Murraypark Hotel, you’re welcome to enjoy the facilities at the hotel’s four-star sister resort, Crieff Hydro. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel and well worth a visit.

You’ll have free access to the main leisure pool (including steam room, sauna and spa bath), in-house cinema and gym. Guests can also join in the Hydro’s daytime and evening entertainment programme.  

See & do

Crieff sits on the Highland Boundary Fault at the point where the Lowlands meets the more mountainous highlands. All of which means this is prime walking and cycling territory.

If you don’t fancy pulling on the hiking boots, The Famous Grouse Experience is based at The Glenturret Distillery, Stuart and Waterford Crystal factory are all in the town.

Fancy a drive? Choose to take a trip to Lochearnhead with the little town’s of Comrie and St Fillans on route or take the scenic route over to Pitlochry.
