Today’s offer is for two people to stay in a splendid Deluxe Room. Furnished to the highest standard, these lovely rooms feature flat screen TV with satellite channels; DVD; Egyptian cotton bed linen; hairdryer, iron and hot drinks facilities. There is WiFi throughout the hotel.
As well as tea or coffee and scones on arrival, the offer includes a full Scottish breakfast plus full use of the excellent resort facilities.
Option 1 is for a one night stay while option 2 is for two consecutive nights.
Upgrades will be available at £10 per night for a Superior Room and £20 per night for a Suite, Garden or Cedar Room.
This offer is valid seven days a week. There is a £20 per night supplement for Friday and Saturday night stays.
Guests at the hotel are welcome to use all of the resort’s extensive leisure facilities. The changing rooms, steam room, sauna, individual treatment rooms and poolside showers have recently been refurbished while the heated swimming pool is as popular as ever.
Badminton, mini-tennis, squash, table tennis and pool are all available on site or you could indulge in some luxurious treatments in the Spa Therapy Rooms.
Big Deal customers can enjoy discounted rates on spa treatments. Book them directly with the hotel at the same time as reserving your room.
Scottish restaurant in Perthshire
If you choose to take meals other than breakfast at the resort, then Flemmyngs Restaurant offers an excellent choice of fresh meat, fish and game sourced in Perthshire.
The menu is changed daily but typical dishes might be the hot-smoked salmon and smoked salmon with pickled cucumber and Hollandaise; the slow cooked shin of Aberdeen beef with celeriac purée, fondant potato and roasted root vegetables or the Drambuie scented crème brulée with caramelised orange segments and shortbread.
If both guests order a three course dinner in Flemmyngs then you will be offered a bottle of house wine as part of the Big Deal.
The more informal Terrace offers a great spread of light bites, bar suppers and nibbles.
See & do in Perthshire
The well presented grounds at Moness Resort are great for leisurely strolls – the duck pond and its family of mallards are always a popular destination. Guests can buy duck food for a £1 from reception – a quick way to make mates with a mallard.
Outside the resort, there are lots of opportunities for water sports, climbing and hill walking. The Birks of Aberfeldy are always a popular short walk. Golfers will be happy to learn that there are over 40 courses nearby and the resort can help with tee times on courses such as Gleneagles.
Moness Hotel and Resort have inspired plenty of happy visitors to share their experiences on TripAdvisor. The following is from a recent guest. We’ve edited it for length but not meaning:
‘A treasure in the hills… Friendly and helpful at reception. Massage on the same day as arrival was much needed after 6 hour drive. Highly recommended! Lunch was included and did not disappoint with a great choice of meals to choose from. Upgraded to a Superior room when we booked. The only thing I would say is that with the larger room a larger TV is needed.
We ate in the main restaurant both evenings. Absolutely fantastic food and service. The same goes for the breakfast. Loads of choice, piping hot, super fresh and highly stocked when levels go down. Highly recommend this hotel for a great relaxing break. Plenty places to visit within half an hour drive and short walk to Dewars World of Whisky is well worth it.’
