Stylish country house dining
Built in 1664, Murrayshall Country House Hotel & Golf Courses in Perthshire has been welcoming visitors for over three centuries.
It is surrounded by two 18-hole golf courses and set in 350 acres of beautiful parkland and woodland, so don’t be surprised if you spot the odd wild deer on your visit.
The hotel’s award-winning Lynedoch Brasserie was refurbished just last year and offers wonderful views of the Murrayshall Golf Course.
This Handpicked Deal offers two people a two course lunch or dinner (starter and main) from the Chef’s Choice menu, accompanied by a glass of house wine each.
First class brasserie
Blending traditional and modern touches, the menus at Lynedoch celebrate the seasonal larder of Perthshire and Scotland.
Sample mains include pan-fried Highland venison loin with salsify, parsnip puree, black cabbage and quince; whole baked sea bass with lemon, garlic & thyme rub and salsa verde, and slow-cooked rare breed pork belly with confit apples and black pudding.
This offer is available from Sunday to Thursday until the end of September.
This diner enjoyed their experience at Lynedoch Brasserie, posting the following review on the restaurant’s Facebook page:
‘Food was very good, as was the service. Everyone was very attentive but not overly fussy. Got it just right.’
Lovely day out
A meal at Murrayshall Country House Hotel & Golf Courses is a great excuse for a jaunt to Perthshire.
