Overlooking Loch Earn and surrounded by the natural beauty of St Fillans, The Achray House conservatory restaurant means dinner is a highlight for all the senses.
The kitchen uses the best local and seasonal produce. Although the menu changes depending what is in season, your nine course, whisky-inspired menu will feature dishes such as the smoked sweet and salty chicken with ginger noodles and soy sauce; a whisky-steamed mussel pot and a haunch of venison served with beetroot and a Laphroaig chilli chocolate sauce.
Adjacent to the conservatory restaurant, The Achray House Bar provides luxurious leather couches in which to enjoy a dram or something from the hotel’s growing gin selection.

‘Excellent hotel… everything was 1st class. The staff were really friendly, polite, courteous and could not do enough for us. The room was large, clean and well equipped with a view over loch Earn- wonderful! We had the nine course tasting menu which was a great way to experience different foods… The bar and lounge area was very comfortable and welcoming with a large open fire. Definitely recommend this hotel.’
‘A lovely welcome. A pleasing room. A most enjoyable and filling taster menu dinner with some interesting courses. The hotel is very comfortable and has a friendly, informal, relaxed atmosphere. The views from most rooms were lovely. Would certainly return.’
‘Perfect getaway. We have stayed here several times. Each occasion has been better than the last. Definite feeling of family about the place. Staff are extremely helpful and professional and the owner is solicitous beyond expectation. Room was comfortable and warm and the public places were amazing with a log-burning open fireplace. There was a well stocked bar with over 50 types of whisky and about 30 locally made gins. Most rooms overlook the loch.’
Beautiful views can make a good break truly memorable. And the lochside scenery surrounding The Achray House Hotel is second to none.
