Guests will be housed in a historic former hunting lodge, built in 1758. Now, a welcoming, four star country house hotel, Moness House Hotel & Resort is ideal for an autumn getaway.
Lovingly refurbished to retain the integrity of the original while introducing the essentials of modern day comfort, all rooms are individually styled and offering a range of Deluxe, Superior or luxurious Suites.
Moness produced a video last year, showcasing the resort – the video can be viewed here.

The Terrace Cafe Bar at Moness Resort is an informal bistro-style restaurant which is perfect to unwind in after your pampering. Plus it has a great view over the swimming pool.
Menu items can change, but typical starters might include chicken liver pâté with oatcakes and house chutney or feta & red onion tartlet with balsamic dressed salad.
Mains might feature a toasted roast beef sandwich with wholegrain mustard mayo & fries, the lemongrass & chilli fishcakes with dressed salad and sweet chilli dip, or chargrilled Caesar salad with rustic croutons and shaved Parmesan.
Guests at the hotel are welcome to use all of the resort’s extensive leisure facilities.
The changing rooms, steam room, sauna, individual treatment rooms and poolside showers all have a new contemporary look while the heated swimming pool is as popular as ever.

“Had a lovely stay at Moness with my husband and 2 children. The cottages were just so spacious and clean. The outside space was a definite bonus for us as the sun shone the whole time we were there so was able to take advantage of this. My wee girl enjoyed playing with the ducks and the rabbits that wander about. The pool was lovely clean. Would definitely recommend Moness to anyone and will definitely be going back.”
“My friend and I spent two nights at Moness last Thursday and Friday. I have been a number of times but this was my friends first time. She loved it. It is set in beautiful surroundings with great facilities. We enjoyed use of the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. There is also plenty to do in the surrounding area. On our way up we stopped off at The Hermitage for a five mile walk. If you want there is a walk up the Birks of Aberfeldy or a Dewars Whisky tour or visit to Menzies Castle. There are drives to Kenmore or Rannoch moor or for the more adventurous there is river rafting at Grandtully not to forget the Highland Chocolatier there too. Lots to do whether you are there for a short break or long break. Thoroughly recommend Moness.”
Autumn is around the corner. Enjoy a short break at the Moness House Hotel and enjoy the season in one of Scotland’s most picturesque regions.
