Glamping pod

This Big Deal at Ecocamp Glenshee has four options.

Options one and two are for a one or two night stay for two in a romantic wooden pod, perfect for two people. Options three and four are for a one or two night stay in a luxury family pod, which sleeps up to four.

The romantic wooden pods at Ecocamp Glenshee offers the cosiest glamping experience. The pods have a double bed with a memory foam mattress, quilts, internal heating, a Fair Trade tea and coffee basket, wine glasses, plates and cups and a kettle.

Their luxury family pods have all of the above, as well as a pull out futon mattress which is perfect for adding on two kids.

True to the nature of the sustainable camp, the blinds in the huts are made from recycled tweed and fleece and the cosy cushions are up-cycled woolly jumpers!

One night stays are available Sunday to Thursday, and two night stays are available seven days a week. There is a £30 supplement per purchase for Friday & Saturday nights, payable directly to Ecocamp Glenshee.

Single nights cannot be booked at the weekend.

Llamas, outdoor adventures, and gin

You’ll never be short of things to do at a stay at Ecocamp Glenshee.

Guests can meet the camp’s llamas, Bonita, Jet, Atticus and Bradford, and take them on a short trek (which includes hot chocolate and cakes!)

Outdoor adventurers can take on one of the camp’s four mountain biking routes or enjoy all the kayaking, canoeing, archery or hiking activities at the outdoor centres nearby.

Craft enthusiasts could visit the Scottish Woodland Skills Centre half an hour away from the Ecocamp and Scottish gin enthusiastic could visit the Persie Distillery a ten minute drive away.

Eco stay

True to its name, Ecocamp Glenshee is fully eco-friendly and sustainable and goes to great lengths to care for the environment.

All their boilers are energy efficient, all their light bulbs are low energy, the camp uses eco-friendly cleaning, laundry and soap products and their PV cells feed electricity back into the grid.

Their log fired boiler heats the Bothy in winter, they use ethically sourced furnishings such as rag rugs, their rescue hens provide eggs for the Bothy and scones and cakes, and their hen houses are made from recycled black silage plastic.

As such, guests are asked to show care for the environment too by using the camp’s recycling facilities, not to bring plastic cutlery on site, using the camp’s BBQ fire pits and not disposable BBQs, and by tidying away all litter and butts.
