Salutation Hotel

Thought to be Scotland’s oldest hotel, Perth’s Salutation Hotel has played host to everybody from Bonnie Prince Charlie to David Bowie.

Superior room

Superior rooms are either recently refurbished or larger in size.

Scottish dishes

Both breakfast and the carvery-style dinner are taken in the splendid Adam Restaurant with its original barrel vaulted ceiling and magnificent, neo-classical Adam window.

See & do

There is plenty to keep you entertained. As well as great concerts and shows at Horsecross theatre and concert hall, Perth has a regular farmers’ market and there are more than 50 golf courses within easy driving distance.

Other attractions include stately homes such as Scone Palace and Perth Racecourse. Alternatively, you could swing by Tullibardine Distillery.

Of course, the surrounding Perthshire countryside is all there to be explored, and the area is great for shopping with its many individual boutique style shops to visit.
