It was also named the Most Hospitable Hotel – Regional Finalist (Fife and Tayside) at the Scottish Thistle Awards 2015/2016.
As mentioned, Parklands has no shortage of awards and guests have been just as pleased. Here are a few recent TripAdvisor reviews, edited for shortness:
‘This was an enjoyable overnight stay. Staff so friendly and helpful. Our room had amazing views of the skyline. The facilities in the room were great, fresh and clean. In a great location, walking distance of the city centre. Bonus of free parking. Great choice for breakfast.’
‘Amazing, great place to stay… highly recommend staying here. The staff are caring and friendly, they go out of their way to help you. The food is fabulous, the rooms are clean and spacious, the cleaners were lovely also… I would stay there again. I would rate it as the best hotel I have stayed in. Also in good location.’
‘...staff are very friendly and rooms modern with great facilities. Enjoyed drinks on the terrace with our group and had an excellent dinner in their fine dining restaurant.’
Boutique hotel break
According to a review from The Scotsman, ‘The Parklands is a great base for exploring Perthshire but it’s also ideal if all you desire is to hole up, eat yourself silly and recharge your batteries’.
Sounds pretty darn wonderful to us. Could this be the perfect surprise to spring on your other half?
