All options of the deal include breakfast, and are available seven days a week until the end of March 2019, with a £10 supplement for Saturday night stays.
The Station Hotel has played an important role in the Rothes community for more than a century. In the 1950s and 1960s it was the place for the rich and well-heeled to stay while travelling north to fish for salmon in the Spey, and Rolls Royces could regularly be seen parked outside.
All options of this deal include a stay in a King or Twin room. These rooms are modern and luxurious and include state of the art hypnos beds, en suite bathrooms with Arran Aromatics toiletries, HD Smart TVs, fast WiFi, iPod docking stations and coffee machines.
With the dramatic Cairngorm mountainscape, winding River Spey, dramatic coastline and picturesque towns and villages, it is difficult to find a more varied landscape than Moray.
Speyside is also the heart of Malt Whisky Country. With over 50 distilleries producing half of Scotland’s national drink, it is the best place to indulge in a dram.
The region also has a multitude of outdoor activities to enjoy, including skiing, golf and fishing.
Options two and three of this deal include £20 per person to spend on dinner at the hotel’s Pagodas Restaurant.
The menu at Pagodas has a huge selection of dishes to choose from, including steaks and burgers along with main courses like Scotch beef and Rothes Ale pot pie with rich butter pastry, mash, roasted roots and ale gravy; loin of venison with tarragon and juniper crust, red wine fondant potato and salt baked carrot jus; and smashed avocado and pine nut salad with crumbled feta and pomegranate.
There’s also a wide range of starters on offer, including seared Shetland King Scallops with mango lime, coconut salsa and roasted chorizo, and a pint of Mussels with smoked pancetta, leek and wholegrain mustard cream sauce.
Relax with a dram
Those who would like to enjoy a dram after their meal can relax in one of the hotel’s bars.
The Spirit Safe bar has over 500 different whiskies and the expertly trained team can advise on drams as well as tasting notes. You could even sample the hotel’s own limited edition 24 year old single cask whisky.
Toots Cafe Bar & Bistro is an informal and cosy spot to enjoy a coffee in the morning, a meal, or a drink in the evening.
Continuing the hotel’s focus on all things whisky, it features a locally hand-crafted copper sink for adding water to your dram.
