Today’s Handpicked Deal for a Twilight Spa Package includes a 25 minute ESPA treatment and two course dinner, as well as full use of the leisure facilities. The deal is available for one or two people.

The Westerwood Hotel is a four star leisure and golf resort set in 120 acres of countryside, so you could arrive early to explore the grounds. Handily, it’s only a twenty minute drive from Glasgow city centre via the M80, meaning zero travel hassles.

Inside, you will find a leisure club decorated in vibrant golds and burgundies that will make you feel like royalty. The club has a range of treatment rooms, including double rooms for two should you want a paired experience. There is also a pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, hot tub, relaxation room, heated loungers and experience showers.

For your 25 minute ESPA treatment you can choose between a massage, express facial, body exfoliation or various other options (please check with the hotel when booking).

This package is available Mondays to Thursdays from 4pm to 9pm, with treatments taking place between 5pm to 8pm.

Guests can receive 20% off any additional treatments, which must be pre-booked ahead of the booking.

Two course meal at The Grill

Before or after your spa experience, you can enjoy a two course dinner in The Grill Restaurant, a casual dining spot overlooking the Campsie and Kilsyth Hills. The restaurant is decorated in warm earth tones with comfy seating, perfect for a relaxing meal.

Menus can change seasonally but dishes tend to be on the creative and flavoursome side. Expect starters such as the bang-bang chicken lollipop with Asian coleslaw, peanut butter, chilli and coconut chicken strip, and the crispy coated brie with chilli and cranberry jam.

Mains might include the baked salmon fillet with pesto mash, green beans and tomato and basil sauce, and the sweet potato and chickpea cake with tomato chutney, salad and vegetable crisps. There are also a range of grill choices, including steaks and burgers.

For dessert, you may want to sample the patriotic Taste of Scotland, which includes Irn Bru ice cream baked alaska, cranachan mousse and deep-fried Mars Bar. Oh, go on. You know you want to.
