Spa hotel in the Clyde Valley

The Popinjay Hotel & Spa is based in the little country village of Rosebank, only a short stroll from the banks of the Clyde. It is easy to reach as is around a 25-minute drive from Glasgow and less than an hour from Edinburgh.

Built in 1882, the hotel has an olde worlde Tudor-style design, perfect for creating the feeling that you’ve escaped everyday life for the day.

With this Big Deal, two people can enjoy a soothing aromatherapy massage each followed by afternoon tea.

And if you want to add a bit of sparkle to the proceedings, you can add on a nice cold glass of Prosecco each as well.

Use of leisure facilities is also included.

This offer is available from 1pm to 5pm, seven days a week until 31st March 2019 (excluding selected dates). You can also buy multiples.

Aromatherapy massage and afternoon tea

Your back, neck and shoulders aromatherapy massage will last around an thirty minutes each and take place in either a dual treatment room or private room each, depending on availability.

After your therapist had consulted with you on your needs, your body will be covered in carefully selected, soothing oils to leave you feeling thoroughly relaxed. The massage will last around 30 minutes.

Afterwards, you can settle down to afternoon tea for two in the restaurant, which will include a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, cakes and scones along with a freshly brewed pot of tea or coffee, plus a glass of Prosecco each with option two.

Vegetarian options are available. If you’d like gluten/wheat-free or vegan options, please request this directly with the hotel when booking.

Make a day of it

This combined spa session and afternoon tea offers everything needed for a perfect day. But if you want to fit in some sightseeing as well, then the New Lanark World Heritage Site is nearby.

Other attractions include Craignethan Castle, Chatelherault Country Park and the Biggar & Upper Clydesdale Museum.
