The Elgin Hotel has lots of admirers on TripAdvisor with many reviews praising the picturesque location. We’ve edited this review slightly for length but not meaning:
‘Perfect for a night away…We had room six with a great view over the Firth of Forth looking over towards the Forth Bridges and an old castle across the water. Room was spotless. We had a lovely three course a la carte meal and cooked breakfast. Drinks were reasonably priced. The highlight of our stay was the short walk into the adjoining village, Limekilns, an absolute gem of a place, picturesque and peaceful… All in all a lovely wee place to come for anyone looking for a nice relaxing break.’
