It is only a ten minute drive from Dunfermline, 25 minutes from Edinburgh and just over 45 minutes from Glasgow.

The fifteen bed hotel has beautiful views over the Firth of Forth, the Pentland Hills and the world famous Forth Bridges.
With a great reputation for fine food and a warm welcome, it’s the perfect place for a getaway break.

Available seven days a week, the offer is for two people to enjoy an overnight stay with a full Scottish breakfast in the morning plus a bottle of Prosecco in your room on arrival.
All guests staying on Sunday to Thursday nights will be given a complimentary upgrade to a superior room if available.
There is a £20 per night supplement for Friday and Saturday night stays.
Spacious rooms
The fifteen rooms are all ensuite and equipped with TVs, free WiFi access and drinks facilities. Many of the rooms have sea views.
Waterfront setting
A full Scottish breakfast is included in the offer. If you choose to take any other meals in the hotel then you are in for an enjoyable experience.
Overlooking the Firth of Forth, The Elgin’s restaurant uses fresh, seasonal ingredients in the dishes on their regularly changing menus. Popular starters include the king prawns in a crispy coating with a Thai sweet chilli dipping sauce and the brie & asparagus cheesecake.
Scotland’s larder is showcased with choices like the Highland salmon topped with prawns in a creamy Drambuie and dill sauce while Mediterranean influences shine through on dishes like the chicken stuffed with haggis in a whisky and pepper sauce.

‘Perfect for a night away…We had room six with a great view over the Firth of Forth looking over towards the Forth Bridges and an old castle across the water. Room was spotless. We had a lovely three course a la carte meal and cooked breakfast. Drinks were reasonably priced. The highlight of our stay was the short walk into the adjoining village, Limekilns, an absolute gem of a place, picturesque and peaceful… All in all a lovely wee place to come for anyone looking for a nice relaxing break.’

Check-in from noon; check-out by 10am.
Advance booking required.
Any cancellations must be made at least 48hrs prior to midday on the day of check-in. Failure to give sufficient notice may result in vouchers being invalidated.
One child, under 12, can be accommodated in a family room when sharing with adults. Supplement of £10 for 1 child for B&B; £15 for 2 children B&B.

Pets are allowed in the hotel in certain allocated rooms. Max 2 pets. Please advise when booking.
