Modern hotel with swimming pool
Carlton Hotel is a refurbished boutique hotel on the seafront promenade of the resort town of Sliema.
It is not far from St. Julian’s Bay, with plenty of amenities on the doorstep. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool and rooftop terrace. Breakfast is not included in this offer but a continental buffet is served each day.
Your room will include free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and air-conditioning. Some rooms also have sea views.
The hotel is across from many rocky beaches with a wide range of restaurants, bars, piazzettas and open air cafes to visit.
Marvellous Malta
Sliema is on Malta’s east coast and offers plenty of attractions.
As well as the long promenade with its many eating spots, you can visit the historic Fort Tigné and St. Julian’s Tower, as well as the baroque-style Stella Maris church.
Or why not take a boat trip to tiny Manoel Island to see the star-shaped Fort Manoel, built by the Knights of St. John?
Valetta, Malta’s capital, has an incredible past that is still present in many of its streets. Don’t miss St John’s stunning cathedral and museum, home to world famous artistic masterpieces by Caravaggio and Mattia Preti.

March: Outbound flights depart Edinburgh at 06:50, arriving into Malta at 11:30. Return flights depart at 11:35, arriving at 14:35.
April: Outbound flights depart Edinburgh at 07:30, arriving into Malta at 12:20. Return flights depart at 12:45, arriving at 15:45.

Baggage allowance:
There is a 10kg restriction on cabin baggage and it must fit the baggage gauge with maximum 56 × 45 × 25cm measurements. You must be able to lift the bag into the overhead locker without assistance. Bags larger than this will be added to the hold and you must pay for this.

Customers are responsible for their own transfers. Transfer info can be found here for how to get in and out from the airport. Alternatively, The Travel Company Edinburgh can prebook a private taxi for £25 each way.
Check-in from 2pm. Check-out by 11am.
