‘We decided on an overnight stay in Vienna travelling from Budapest. On arrival at Vienna mainline station we searched online for nearby hotels and chose the Schani. What a great move. Less than ten minute walk from the station and has a tram stop (D line) directly outside which took us into the city centre (you can pay on board €2.60 single journey). The rooms are very modern in a minimalist style and the bed is so very comfortable. Thanks to the wonderful double glazing, there is no noise whatsoever from the street below. Although not using the restaurant, we had bar snacks, which were superb.’

‘Gem of a hotel. Great location for transport in Vienna and the main Hbf for intercity. Room is great, plenty of space, modern and everything you’d hope for. Really thick windows so extremely quiet despite proximity to railway. And to top it off, a comfy bar to enjoy with cracking staff. Delight to stay here.’
