Central hotel

The Tivoli Gardens, close to your hotel, are an old-school amusement park, dating from 1843, and still keeping visitors enthralled with rides, wooden rollercoasters and the Star Flyer carousel offering great views over the city.

For dining and entertainment, the Nyhavn harbour front is an obvious hub, with great restaurants, elegant 17th-century houses and traditional bars. This is where Hans-Christian Andersen wrote some of his best-loved fairytales.

Like Amsterdam, Copenhagen is a great canal city and canal tours offer a unique perspective on the historic areas of the capital. Tours depart from Nyhavn or the Gammel Strand, with English commentary.
