Flights are direct. Outward flights depart from Glasgow at 18:50, arriving in Palanga at 22:50. Return flights depart from Palanga at 12:05, arriving in Glasgow at 12:40.

Apartment accommodation
Centrally located in Palanga, within easy reach of the nightlife, the Amberton Green Apartments are also within close proximity of the Antanas Mončys House Museum, Palanga Pier and the beach.
The studio apartments have their own kitchenettes with microwaves and dishwashers. Rooms have private balconies or patios. Facilities include flat-screen TV with cable programming and complimentary wireless Internet.
Each apartment has a private bathroom with shower, deep-soaking bathtubs and complimentary toiletries.
The complex offers a spa for massages and facials, along with an indoor pool, a spa tub, and a sauna.
In addition to the self-catering facilities, the complex has an international restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, room service, and a bar/lounge.
Palanga attractions
The long, sandy beach and clear Baltic waters are the main draw in Palanga, but there are plenty of attractions to enjoy in this alluring resort.
Amber is the familiar souvenir of any Baltic visit, and in Palanga it is possible to visit the prestigious Amber Museum, view a polishing demonstration, and pick up some beautiful jewellery.
Other highlights of the town include the striking Gothic church, the attractive botanical gardens and the sea views from the forested trails on Birute hill.
For nightlife, head for the clubs, bars and restaurants on Basanavicius street, close to your hotel, which becomes the hub of the resort’s action come summer.
For a flavour of old Lithuania, consider the optional excursion to the former Imperial Prussian city of Klaipėda, with its charming, cobbled Old Town, romantic ruined castle and distinctive German architecture. The city is around 30 minutes by taxi or bus from Palanga.
