Use of leisure centre
Great views and the baronial architecture of the Ballachulish make it a welcoming spot to linger over a book and a dram. The more energetic might choose to use the pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and exercise room in the nearby Leisure Centre at sister hotel The Isles of Glencoe.
As well as enjoyable views, the Bulas Bar and Bistro at the Ballachulish Hotel have a stylish contemporary atmosphere and the kitchen prepares daily changing menus which make the most of seasonal, local produce.
Popular main courses include the haddock in beer batter and chips; the New Yorker burger and the spinach and ricotta cannelloni.
The Ballachulish Hotel has always been a popular choice for previous Big Deals. This recent review on TripAdvisor helps explain why. We’ve cut it for length but not meaning:
‘Staff and location are great… We arrived a couple of hours before check in & the staff were very accommodating & gave us a room that was ready. The room was a reasonable size & had an amazing view across the loch! The room was very traditional (mahogany furniture etc) but clean. The evening menu was varied & the food was good & breakfast was a buffet. They also did pack lunches for walkers etc. The staff are what makes this hotel great & the location is stunning, even when the weather isn’t!’
If you have a loved one who would like to find a Glencoe getaway in their stocking on Christmas morning then snap up today’s Big Deal.
It would also make for a relaxing pre-Christmas break. Who doesn’t dream of escaping the rough and tumble of Christmas shopping for a short break?
