Comfortable, cosy and beautifully equipped, the four star, self catering lodges are located eight miles south of Fort William, aka the Outdoor Capital of the UK.

The surrounding Lochaber area is made up of soaring mountains; sparkling burns; deep, mysterious lochs and a wild rugged coastline.

Whether you prefer mountain biking or Munro-bagging; distillery visits, island hopping or whale-watching, it is all on the doorstep at Birchbrae Highland Lodges.

Fully equipped

The lodges are the perfect place to come home to after a full day’s activity. Ideal for family holidays or breaks with friends, they all have three bedrooms with two bathrooms.

All lodges have a large lounge with 2 × 3 seater sofas, footstools and a surround sound home cinema TV system. A DVD and CD library is provided as is WiFi.

There is a dining area in each lodge with seating for six and an oak topped table plus a fully fitted, well equipped, modern kitchen.

Each lodge has toasty electric heating throughout and each radiator can be independently controlled. All electricity, heating, broadband access, linen and towels are also included.

One Lodge has been assessed to be Category 3 (access for those with mobility impairment).

The kitchen was very well equipped and every little detail had been thought of throughout the lodge. The lodges are set in beautiful woodlands not far from Loche Linnhe, and ideally situated for visiting Oban, Mull, Fort William and a climb up Ben Nevis. Only disappointment was not seeing the pine martins and red squirrels, so we are looking forward to coming back..’
