Ice Factor is The National Centre for ice climbing and the UK’s premier mountain activity centre.
Available seven days a week, this Big Deal is for one, two or four people to enjoy a full day of mountain adventures in Ice Factor.
Over the course of the day, you can try your hand, and feet, at rock climbing, abseiling and a giant bungee swing.
There is an aerial adventure course to tackle and, last but certainly not least, the 15metre high, indoor ice wall is there to be conquered.
At the end of the day, you can relive all the excitement while relaxing in the sauna and steam rooms.
Expert tuition
Guests will be given expert tuition in rock climbing including vital skills such as belaying, knots and climbing movement techniques.
Full instruction and supervision are provided by highly experienced, passionate instructors.
All equipment hire is fully included.

Available 7 days a week, 10am-5pm. Please arrive 30 min early.

Important Information
Option 1 is for 1 person to have full day of activities at Ice Factor. Includes tuition, equipment hire, use of facilities including sauna/steam room.
Option 2 is for 2 people to have full day of activities at Ice Factor.
Option 3 is for 4 people to have full day of activities at Ice Factor.
Offer available to those aged 10 or over and there is a minimum boot size of 4. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Please wear sports clothing and bring trainers. Customers must have clothing suitable for wet and cold conditions – gloves are mandatory within the Ice Wall.
Minimum accompanied height for the Adventure Course is 1m 20cm and the minimum unaccompanied height is 1m 40 cm.
The activities are demanding and you will need a good head for heights.
Strictly no picnics permitted – only food & drink purchased on the premises can be consumed on the premises.
