The market menu changes regularly but a typical three course meal might include a starter of grilled mackerel with pickled and charred cucumber, radish and braised baby gem followed by beef casserole, honey-glazed root vegetables and buttered mash with a dessert of chocolate and rosemary tart and chocolate ice-cream to finish.
