The Ben Wyvis Hotel is a grand and inviting Victorian mansion house surrounded by woodlands and impressive grounds.

Located in Strathpeffer and only 15 miles from Inverness, the hotel makes a great base for exploring the lochs, castles and glens of the region, as well as the whisky trail.

Available seven days until the end of April, this Big Deal is for a one or two night getaway for two at the Ben Wyvis.

You will be staying in a superior garden or mountain view room with a full Scottish breakfast. On arrival, you will be given a warm Highland welcome with tea or coffee and biscuits. You will also be offered a glass of fizz each (but you can save that for dinner if you prefer).

Dinner will be a three course table d’hôtel meal with coffee. If you choose the two night stay, then dinner will be served on the first night.

You will also have the perks of an early check-in and late check-out.

There is a £10 supplement for Saturday night stays, and a £15 supplement for stays on the 15th February – these supplements are paid directly to the hotel.

Typical mouthwatering mains from the chef’s daily menu include slow-roasted blade of beef; poached fillet of salmon, and linguine with sun-dried tomato & pesto cream.

If you’re an active type then there are lots of great hiking and biking spots nearby, including the popular Rogie Falls.

Strathpeffer itself is a fascinating Victorian spa town, with the Museum of Childhood being a highlight. And of course, Inverness is just down the road.
