Anyone remember menu anxiety?
In days of yore, you’d head off to a nice restaurant, take a look at all the tempting choices on offer and panic. That’s because whichever dish you chose, you’d have to give up on trying something else equally tasty.
Thankfully, the small plate revolution has banished all that, because nowadays, you can sample the whole breadth of a chef’s skill in a single visit (2019, we love you).
And today’s Big Deal gives you and a friend the chance to do exactly this at Hotel Indigo in Glasgow.
Small plate selection for two
The 4-star Hotel Indigo in Glasgow city centre is located on Waterloo Street.
With this Big Deal, two people can dine on a small plate sharing selection, daytime or evening, seven days a week.
Option one is for five small sharing plates, option two is for five small sharing plates and a glass of Prosecco each, and option three is for eight small sharing plates with a bottle of wine.
This offer is available until late November 2019.
Sample small sharing plates include the following:
Haggis bon bon with brown sauce
Mini mac and cheese
Truffle and parmesan skinny fries
Bacon and Gruyere skinny fries
Hot wings with scotch bonnet and Blue Murder dressing
Breaded haddock goujons
Crowdie bon bon with spiced chutney
Note the menu may be subject to change.
This 5pm customer loved their recent birthday visit to the hotel:
‘Lovely birthday dinner. From the warm welcome to the final coffee this was a really great place to have dinner. Food cooked to perfection and great service. Good time between courses and the staff were great. The only thing we would change is to get rid of the small coffee cups. Thanks for a lovely visit.’ 5/5
Enjoy it whenever you want
This Big Deal is super flexible as it is available every day from lunchtime until late.
This means it would suit everything from a weekend shopping stop-off with a friend to a pre-theatre treat to a cosy dinner date.
And if you want it to be extra decadent, then snap up option three for eight whole sharing plates plus a lovely bottle of wine as well. Seriously, why deny yourself?
