Radisson RED

Glasgow’s Radisson RED opened in spring 2018 and immediately made waves in the city.

The hotel is the first Radisson RED in the UK and only the second in Europe.

With a rooftop bar, incredible views of the Clyde, a prime location in Finnieston next to the Hydro and an exterior that changes colour reacting to daylight, it has already become an iconic Glasgow destination.

Overnight stay

This Big Deal is for an overnight stay in a standard room for two people. Option one is on a room only basis, and option two is on a bed and breakfast basis.

Available from 1st December 2019 until the end of March 2020, this deal is available at the perfect time to enjoy Glasgow’s winter.

There is the option to upgrade to a superior room for £25 per room. This can be arranged directly with the hotel.

Stylish hotel

The rooms at Radisson RED are slick, modern and have floor to ceiling windows with incredible views overlooking the Clyde.

The hotel’s OUIBar + KTCHN is a stylish space which is an ideal setting for an assortment of encounters. With vibrant colours, trendy furniture, a pool table and wall murals designed by Glasgow comic book artist, Vincent Deighan, it’s a great place to host meetings, relax with a bite to eat or start a night out with cocktails.

The colours red and white are present in every area of the hotel and there are design details which nod to Glasgow’s heritage, such as a Finnieston crane in the tiling of the walls of the guest bathrooms.

Rooftop bar

It was about time Glasgow had a bar with an amazing city view – and thanks to Radisson RED it now does.

The RED Sky Bar, located on the top floor of the Radisson RED, has floor to ceiling windows with panoramic views of the River Clyde, Squinty Bridge and iconic Clydeside buildings like BBC Scotland and the Science Centre.

Excellent location

Located a stone’s throw from the Hydro, this deal is perfect for those staying overnight in Glasgow for a gig. Of course, availability will be limited when the big stars are in town, so cannot always be guaranteed.

Radisson RED is located in Finnieston, which was named by The Times as the ‘hippest place to live in Britain’. There is a multitude of bars and restaurants very close to the hotel.

The hotel is a five minute walk from Exhibition Centre train station and close to a number of bus and taxi routes, making it very easy to explore the vibrant culture and nightlife of Glasgow.

‘Hotel staff were welcoming and friendly from the second we stepped inside. Rooms were spacious, had everything we needed and great views of the Clyde and the hydro. The hotel has an element of fun with the art, selfie cam and foosball table etc all adding to this. Breakfast was tasty although make sure you’re down in plenty of time as it didn’t get replenished close to finishing time. Overall, a fab, comfortable stay and I will definitely be back again!’

‘Fantastic stay in this hotel. The reception staff were a credit to the hotel. The decor is very modern and eye-catching. I upgraded our room at a cost of £25 and this meant I had stunning views over Glasgow. The upgrade cost was well worth it. Breakfast was really good as well. Plenty to choose from. I have just booked the afternoon tea offer on 5pm and am really looking forward to my return visit – although sadly without the overnight stay!
