Eagerly anticipated launch

Opening in November last year, Avo Avo was one of the most eagerly anticipated launches of the 2017 Glasgow restaurant scene.

Billed as Scotland’s first dedicated avocado restaurant, it has had a great response from the city’s many passionate proponents of the green fruit.

Deal for two or four diners

Available seven days a week, this a very straightforward offer. Option one is for two people to each have a main course from the menu below.

Option two is for four people to do the same.

The menu may be subject to change, but guests can expect to choose from the following:

AVO Burger – avocado ‘bun’ with sesame seeds, red onion, plum tomato and baby gem, served with tortilla chips, side salad and salsa. Choose from beef burger, chicken breast, sweet potato & black bean, or smoked salmon & cream cheese

Mac & Cheese – creamy mature cheddar cheese sauce, served with mixed leaf salad. Choose from traditional, or avocado & walnut

Risotto – sundried tomato, olive, basil and avocado risotto

Avo rice bowl – brown rice infused with soy, ginger, chillies, edamame, pomegranate and coriander. Choose from avocado, chicken, steak, or smoked salmon

Avo burrito – sweet potato and mixed bean chilli, avocado and chillies wrapped in a tortilla, served with salad, salsa & guacamole

Chicken Caesar salad – baby gem lettuce, Caesar dressing, chopped avocado croutons and Parmesan with grilled chicken

Super food salad – mixed leaves, avocado puree, tomatoes, red onion, radish, feta & mixed seeds. Choose from avocado, chicken, or smoked salmon

Avo smashed bruschetta – garlic, basil and cherry tomatoes, smashed avocado, fresh Mozzarella and balsamic reduction
