In fact, we reckon you can do a whole lot better than that (sorry, Jules).

So why not grab your dancing shoes and celebrate the New Year in style at Rotunda’s Hogmanay ceilidh instead?

• Perched on the Clyde, North Rotunda is one of Glasgow’s most popular venues. Its spectacular Finnieston Rooms space is the perfect setting for a New Year shindig.

• This Big Deal is for one ticket to the Hogmanay dinner and dance on the 31st. And if you don’t know Strip the Willow? Don’t worry, the band will talk you through it.

• With option one, you will be welcomed with fizz and canapes at 7pm, followed by a three-course Hogmanay dinner with a glass of wine, then a ceilidh and disco until 1am.

• Option two is for a ceilidh ticket, starting at 9pm.
