Billed as a brewhouse and smoke pit, The Crafty Pig is a neighbourhood bar on Great Western Road.

It is a laidback joint with stripped brick walls, a pool table, live music and sports TV. And of course, those all-important cosy booths.

The kitchen team pride themselves on finger-lickin’ good slow BBQ food, all cooked to perfection in the in-house smoker.

Plenty of choice

Diners will have a choice of two dogs – either the classic Chicago with yellow mustard, frickles and onions, or the award-winning brisket chilli & cheese.

There are a few burgers to choose from, including the classic beef and chicken burgers, the pulled pork burger and the smoked crispy tofu burger.

All burgers and dogs served with lettuce, red onion, tomato, pickle and fries. Add-on sauces include classic Buffalo, sticky BBQ, dry rub, tequila lime and yes, even Buckfast.

Option two of the deal includes a pint of Apache beer or bottle of Sol each.

Excellent staff and service, food was so good and a bowl of water came for my dog and a sausage from the chef. We sat in a booth with a TV. Great for a night out with pals. Will definitely go back again.’
