Sitting pretty in the West End, The Crafty Pig describes itself as what happens ‘when an upmarket neighbourhood bar meets the dive bar’s bit on the side’.
Burger or hot dog
Billed as a brewhouse and smoke pit, The Crafty Pig is a neighbourhood bar on Great Western Road.
It is a laidback joint with stripped brick walls, a pool table, live music and sports TV. And of course, those all-important cosy booths.
The kitchen team pride themselves on finger-lickin’ good slow BBQ food, all cooked to perfection in the in-house smoker.
Get down and dirty at The Crafty Pig with today’s Big Deal on a burger or hot dog and optional beer each for two.
The deal is available any day of the week from noon to 8.30pm until the end of September.
Plenty of choice
Diners will have a choice of two dogs – either the classic Chicago with yellow mustard, frickles and onions, or the award-winning brisket chilli & cheese.
There are a few burgers to choose from, including the classic beef and chicken burgers, the pulled pork burger and the smoked crispy tofu burger.
All burgers and dogs served with lettuce, red onion, tomato, pickle and fries. Add-on sauces include classic Buffalo, sticky BBQ, dry rub, tequila lime and yes, even Buckfast.
Option two of the deal includes a pint of Apache beer or bottle of Sol each.
This TripAdvisor reviewer loved their recent visit to The Crafty Pig:
‘I came to The Crafty Pig this week with my mum, daughter and her friend. We hadn’t eaten here before but they allow you to bring your dog in so this was great for us. Excellent staff and service, food was so good and a bowl of water came for my dog and a sausage from the chef. We sat in a booth with a TV. Great for a night out with pals. Will definitely go back again.’
Ideal for a catch up
This finger-licking Big Deal would be perfect for catching a midweek game; a night out with friends; a catch-up lunch with a friend or simply because you can’t face going shopping and cooking yourself.
The Crafty Pig is a short stroll from the Botanic Gardens. Which means this offer would be the ideal restorative pick-me up after a stroll around the gardens.
