We’re not going to beat about the bush with this Big Deal.
The original Lebowskis opened in Finnieston in 2007. Ten years on, the bar and diner is going strong.
The branch opened in Edinburgh, taking the success to the east coast, and has been very popular.
They serve great food and drink in a friendly and laidback atmosphere that makes people want to return.
The numerous subtle homages to The Big Lebowski film probably don’t hurt either.
If you want to see why the Lebowskis bars are so successful, this Big Deal is a good place to start.
Brunch it up
Available 11am to 3pm, on Saturdays and Sundays, option one of the Big Deal is for two people to have one brunch dish each from brunch menu.
Items include the Bunny Brunch (grilled half tomato, vegan sausage, beans, potato scone, hash brown, mushrooms), the Big Lebowski Brunch (homemade flat sausage, double bacon, double egg, Stornoway black pudding, haggis, potato scone, hash brown, beans, toast and butter) and the Mexican Eggs (eggs sunny side up on homemade hot salsa topped with guacamole & sour cream).
The Steak and Eggs option is not included on this offer.
Cocktails to match
Option two includes a cocktail each, choosing from a Bloody Mary, Mimosa, Red Snapper or Bloody Maria. Alcohol may be substituted for a soft drink.
Both options are valid in the Finnieston branch in Glasgow and Edinburgh’s Morrison Street.
Customers at Lebowskis in Finnieston have been quick to spread the love on TripAdvisor. As this excerpt from an extensive recent review underlines:
‘This group of Dudes are happy… Both collectively, and individually, we had all been coming here for years, and not once have we had a bad experience… The service, as usual, was outstanding… Overall, the drinks, the service, the atmosphere, everything about this place is simply perfect! Highly recommended…’
This is from the entry for Lebowskis Edinburgh:
‘Very nice bar with a funny and awesome theme. Good service and nice drink selection with plenty of local drinks.’
Valid until 24th March, this is a potential treat for a friend who’s mad for brunch. Or Lebowskis…
It would be perfect for a laidback Saturday or Sunday brunch for two.
Of course, you are welcome to buy a couple and enjoy a sociable brunch with friends.
