Apart from the fact that they both boast tropical weather, white sandy beaches and an abundance of surfers, Glasgow’s Bath Street and the Balinese island of Kuta are seldom mistaken for one another.
That is all set to change as word gets out about Bath Street’s newly opened Kuta bar.
A stylish subterranean hangout in the heart of the city’s party zone, Kuta’s fusion food; fantastic cocktails and fun-packed events calendar are taking the Bath Street bar scene by storm.
Three course festive meal
Today’s Big Deal on a three course festive lunch or dinner means that you can join the party and see what all the fuss is about.
The Big Deal is £9.95 per person for Kuta’s three course Christmas or New Year’s menu. It is perfect for large groups or small gatherings.
Kuta’s kitchen specialises in fashionable pan-Asian dishes. Typical choices from the Christmas menu include starters such as the duck spring rolls with plum sauce and the mixed shellfish tempura.
Main courses include salmon with ramen noodles, bok choi and spring onion or spiced honey glazed pork belly with coconut steamed rice.
Traditionalists won’t miss out. A roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings is also on offer.
The desserts include coconut panacotta with mango and dark chocolate mousse.
