It is not often we can say this but today’s Big Deal has a presidential seal of approval about it.
The offer is for a relaxing overnight stay at the Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel including a full Scottish breakfast and 2 course dinner.
A four star hotel which sits right on the banks of Scotland’s most famous loch, the family-run business has played host to not one but two American presidents.
It is easy to see what attracted them.
Just 30 minutes from Glasgow, The Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel sits in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
Many of the rooms and the hotel’s Colquhoun’s Restaurant offer undisturbed panoramic views of Scotland’s most breath-taking loch and its majestic, mountainous surroundings.
It is perfect for a romantic break – the hotel even has its own beach for arm-in-arm strolls.
2 course dinner
Available 7 days per week this offer is for two people to enjoy an overnight stay in a classic Graham room or an executive Munro room.
Guests will enjoy a full Scottish breakfast in the morning and a two course table d’hote menu at dinner in the award-winning Colquhoun’s Restaurant.
Full use of the leisure complex is also included in the offer.
There is a £30 supplement for Friday and Saturday night stays.
The rooms are in traditional lodge style accommodation with views over the loch, the beach or towards the picturesque village of Luss. As well as a bath, shower and WC, all rooms have double or twin beds, a two seater sofa, colour television, in-room iron and board, hair-dryer, tea and coffee and direct dial telephones.
The Corbetts also have beautiful Douglas Fir balconies with amazing views over the loch and your very own sauna.
Room allocation depends on availability. Guests can upgrade to a deluxe Corbett room for a supplement of £20.
Featuring panoramic views of the loch and Ben Lomond, Colquhoun’s serves up delicious modern cuisine carefully created using the freshest of local produce.
Popular main courses include the grilled cod with chilli and ginger greens on soya noodles or the twice-cooked lamb rump served with a tapenade mash, tomato fondue and pepper dressing.
Guests can enjoy all that the leisure centre has to offer at the Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel. In addition to a sixteen metre pool, there is a Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and laconium.
See & do Loch Lomond
